Roadmap & status
Honest about where we are.
Transparency is a feature, not a press release. Here's the real state of the engine — the parts that are built and gated, and the parts that still depend on data, review and governance.
Built & validated
The engine is done — and checked on every change.
Joint Bayesian reasoning engine
Recovers latent identities and relationships as one posterior over all the evidence, with calibration measured end-to-end on synthetic ground truth.
Reading historical records
Transcription of historical handwriting and print into structured, source-linked fields, measured against human ground truth on an open corpus.
Identity resolution + adversarial critique
Candidate links are matched across records and must survive a critic that tries to refute them before they are accepted.
DNA, weighed jointly
Genetic relatedness folded into the same inference, validated on real open trios (1000 Genomes) where the truth is known.
The honest interface
Calibrated confidence, expandable proofs, and explicit “evidence exhausted” nodes — with a build-time guarantee that nothing renders without backing evidence.
Privacy mechanisms
Consent gating for living people, flag-not-disclose for sensitive findings, differential privacy on shared graphs and a transparent law-enforcement policy — implemented, not just promised.
In progress
What we're still building.
Real archival corpora
Acquiring period- and place-specific archival records so the engine calibrates on the true messiness of history. This is the keystone before any real-world accuracy is claimed.
Real-world accuracy benchmark
A measured comparison on real, documented lineages. The harness is ready; it needs real archival and reference data to run against.
Independent genealogist review
A professional (Board for Certification of Genealogists) review of our proof arguments before any claim of quality or comparison is made.
Governance go / no-go
The owner's internal data-protection assessment and written decision before any real living-person or genetic data is ingested.
Consumer experience
The honest-rendering invariants are gated today; a polished, usability-reviewed product experience is the next build track.
When the numbers are earned, we'll show them — good and bad.
Real progress, not hype.
